HSRP क्या होता है?
HSRP का फुल फॉर्म है High Security Registration Plate। यह एक विशेष तरह की नंबर प्लेट होती है जो सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त होती है और सुरक्षा के लिहाज से पुराने नंबर प्लेट्स से कहीं ज्यादा बेहतर होती है।
इस प्लेट पर यूनिक सीरियल नंबर होता है, जो laser से कोड किया गया होता है, और यह tamper-proof होती है यानी इसे बिना तोड़े हटाया नहीं जा सकता।

हर वाहन को एक यूनिक ट्रेस करने लायक नंबर मिलता है, जिससे चोरी के मामलों में पुलिस को सहायता मिलती है। - फर्जी नंबर प्लेट की रोकथाम करने के लिए
HSRP पर यूनिक laser code और भारत का चिन्ह (Ashok Chakra) होता है, जिससे नकली नंबर प्लेट बनाना मुश्किल होता है। - चालान से बचाव के लिए
अब कई राज्यों में HSRP अनिवार्य कर दी गई है। अगर आपने अभी तक नहीं लगवाया है , तो ₹5000 तक का चालान कट सकता है। - ट्रैफिक और पुलिस सिस्टम के लिए आसान पहचान के लिए
नंबर प्लेट और विंडस्क्रीन पर लगे कलर कोडेड स्टीकर से वाहन का ईंधन टाइप (पेट्रोल, डीज़ल, CNG) भी पता चल जाता है।
